The school administers and delivers the core general education curriculum for all undergraduate students, including courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, foreign languages, physical education, humanities, the philosophy and arts. Our primary objective is to provide students with a profound foundation in the sciences and humanities. Research and Vision

The School of Arts and Sciences is committed to conducting fundamental research-oriented towards global scientific and technological frontiers. The school undertakes cutting-edge and innovative research that addresses the key questions in mathematics and natural sciences. The Fundamental Science Experiment Center supports the core curriculum by maintaining state-of-the-art laboratories for hands-on instruction in mechanics, electromagnetism, modern physics, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology. As a core unit of FYUST, our vision is to become an influential institution where a top-tier faculty advances human knowledge through excellence in both teaching and research.
