Key Laboratory of Human Factors and Intelligent Reduction of Vibration & Noise, MOE (in preparation) was approved for establishment on 20 March 2025 (Document No. 22 [2025] of the Department of Science, Education and Information Technology), with a two-year incubation and construction period. Relying on the multidisciplinary platform of Fuyao University of Science and Technology, the laboratory brings together professionals from fields such as transport equipment and intelligent transport, mechanical manufacturing, and computer science, focusing on two research directions: Ergonomic Acoustics and Vibration Engineering, and Intelligent Vibration Damping and Noise Reduction Technology. It is committed to achieving significant original breakthroughs in areas such as the ergonomic evaluation system for the Chinese population, the mechanisms of physical, psychological and physiological responses, AI-enabled ergonomic acoustics and vibration engineering, intelligent sensing and information processing technologies, multi-agent collaborative vibration control technologies, and AI-enabled inverse design of acoustic metamaterials. In response to major national needs, the platform undertakes significant research tasks, promotes the integration of AI-enabled human factors engineering, vibration and noise reduction with industrial applications, and fosters innovation and international competitiveness within the future transport equipment industry.
