Key Laboratory of Future Intelligent Manufacturing for High-end Equipment

High-end equipment manufacturing, led by advanced technologies, occupies the high end of the value chain and the core segment of the industrial chain. In the production process, it imposes stringent requirements on high precision, high safety, high stability, and long lifespan, making it a focal point of global manufacturing competition.

Intelligent manufacturing of high-end equipment, characterized by advanced technology and high added value, has gained significant attention worldwide. Countries are prioritizing intelligent manufacturing as a strategic high ground in technological competition, elevating"AI + manufacturing"technologies to a national strategy.

China has made substantial progress in intelligent manufacturing development. However, challenges remain, including insufficient supply adaptability, weak innovation capabilities, limited depth and breadth of application, and a shortage of professional talent.

The laboratory is dedicated to high-end equipment, responding to China's initiatives in tackling key intelligent manufacturing technologies.

It focuses on three core technologies within this initiative: "design-production-operation and maintenance", and conducts in-depth research in three directions: digital-intelligent design, high-efficiency production and high-reliability operation and maintenance of high-end equipment. Its goal is to break through the key“bottleneck” technologies of future intelligent manufacturing and contribute to the high-quality development of high-end equipment.
