Fuyao University of Science and Technology (FYUST) has been officially approved to enroll international students, marking an important milestone in the university’s internationalization efforts. The move follows the approval in September 2025 to admit students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

As a new type of research university committed to building a high-caliber, compact and elite, research-driven, and globally oriented institution, FYUST views international student education as a key part of its “bring in” strategy.

Following the approval to recruit students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, the university formed a dedicated task force to prepare its application for international student enrollment approval. Guided by evaluation standards, the university completed the process with a strong focus on academic quality, institutional development, and student support, laying a solid foundation for future international exchanges and learning opportunities on campus.

Moving forward, FYUST will continue strengthening its international education system in areas including admissions, academic programs, campus services, and global partnerships, while further enhancing its international profile and educational quality.
