Recently, Fuyao University of Science and Technology (FYUST) and Hailan Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hailan Group"), together with its subsidiary Hailan Smart Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hailan Smart Cloud"), officially signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish the "Hailan Smart Cloud -FYUST Joint Research Institute for Digital Intelligence and Low-Carbon Industry". The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and technology innovation and transfer, promoting deep industry-education-research integration and helping the manufacturing industry move toward high-end, intelligent, and sustainable.

According to the agreement, the Joint Research Institute will focus on the following four core directions to promote the R&D and applications of key technologies:

· Development of corporate-level energy and carbon optimization management systems;

· Digital and intelligent upgrading and renovation of manufacturing production lines;

· Development and application of AI models and algorithms;

· Development of digital, intelligent and low-carbon factories.

Both parties will also establish a market-oriented mechanism for technology transfer, jointly apply for national and provincial-level scientific research projects, share policy and financial support, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productive forces.

In terms of talent cultivation, the two parties will jointly create an "industry-education-research -application" collaboration model to cultivate innovative talents that meet industrial needs:

· Both parties will exchange technical experts and academic leaders to jointly form interdisciplinary research teams;

· Technical experts from Hailan Group will serve as industrial mentors for FYUST undergraduate and graduate students;

· Fuyao University of Science and Technology will provide training for technical personnel from Hailan Group.

Looking ahead, Fuyao University of Science and Technology and Hailan Group will continue to deepen their cooperation, focusing on key technology innovation and transfer in the digital intelligence and low-carbon industry fields, jointly cultivating top-notch innovative talents, and exploring a path of university-industry integration and collaborative innovation development.
